Mr. Straw is an economic geologist with over 18 years in the mining industry globally. He holds an honours degree in applied geology from UNSW in Sydney and has lead the exploration and evaluation of precious and base metals projects in Australia, South America and China. He is currently a Director and CEO of ASX and London Plus listed Silver Mines Limited.
Mr. McMurray has over 25 years experience in financing and promoting the interests of public and private companies and has held management and senior officer positions with several exploration and development companies. He has been involved in raising over $100 million for exploration and development projects and was recently part of the team that developed and sold St. Jude Resources.
George is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years of experience in accounting, finance, taxation and the audit of mining companies and other industries. Mr. Lim is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Dundarave Resources Inc. (DDX:TSX-V) and is on the board of directors of Eurasian Mineral Inc. (EMX-TSX-V). Until its recent takeover, in a transaction valued at in excess of $430 million, Mr. Lim held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Potash One Inc. (KCL:TSX). Mr. Lim was also the Chief Financial Officer of Energy Metals Corporation (EMU: NYSE-ARCA and EMC:TSX) prior to its take-over in a transaction valued at $1.5 billion. Mr. Lim has been involved in numerous financings, mergers and acquisitions of public companies listed on TSX and NYSE.
Dr. Stover is Executive Vice President, Americas for Uranium One, Inc. He is responsible for the commercial development of Uranium One's substantial U. S. uranium assets as well other uranium assets in the Americas. Previously he served as Chief Operating Office of Energy Metals Corporation. Prior to joining EMC in 2005, he lead a private consulting firm founded in 2002 which provided technical services to both domestic and international uranium mining ventures. From 1989 until 2002, he served as Vice President, Engineering and Project Development for Rio Algom Mining Corp. Prior to joining Rio Algom, he served as Chief Engineer for Everest Minerals Corporation for 11 years.
After earning a B.A. in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan, he joined Atlantic Richfield Company where he was instrumental in the development of In-Situ Uranium Recovery technology and the Clay West Project, the first commercial scale U.S. In-Situ uranium project.
An author of several papers regarding In--Situ uranium recovery, he has co-authored three IAEA Guidebooks and Manuals related to both Acidic and Alkaline Uranium ISL technology. He has authored six patents relating to this technology. He is a non-executive director of Gunnison Minerals, Inc. a privately held copper exploration and development company.
Ms. Nagra has over 16 years accounting experience, including 12 years in the mining industry in progressively senior positions. Prior to Artha she was the Chief Financial Officer for St Jude Resources which was sold to Golden Star in a transaction valued at $120 million. Ms. Nagra was also the senior accountant for First Quantum Minerals, which grew from a small copper producer to a major mining company with a market cap well over $5 billion.
Ms. Thomson has over 20 years experience managing the corporate administration of public mining companies. She was the corporate secretary for First Quantum Minerals Ltd. and Energy Metals Corporation, formerly a public company listed on the NYSE Arca and the TSX which was acquired by Uranium One for $1.8 billion in 2007.
