David Cohen
Position: Advisory Board

Mr. Cohen has 20 years experience in pure and applied exploration and environmental geochemistry research based in Australia, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America. He is president of the (International) Association of Applied Geochemists, head of the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences at University of New South Wales and was previously chair of the Science Faculty at UNSW.

Mr. Cohen's current research projects include sampling and analytical methods for exploration and environmental geochemistry, environmental geochemical baseline surveys and multivariate data mining.

He lectures in environmental and exploration geochemistry, economic geology, geological data processing and statistics methods, and supervises a number of postgraduate research students in geochemistry. He has been a technical consultant to a number of industrial companies and government departments, and has published over 40 papers, book chapters and major government reports.

 
Guillermo Crosby
Position: Advisory Board

Mr. Crosby was the Honorary Consul General of Peru for Western Canada from 1976 -- 1985 and again from 1989 -- 1993. Mr. Crosby has extensive and current contacts in both the public and private sectors in Latin America and will be a valuable asset to the Company as it moves forward with exploration on its recently acquired Pirquitas properties.

Mr. Crosby is based in Vancouver, BC and is a consultant and advisor to several mining and industrial companies based in Canada, Australia and Europe that are active in Latin America. He has placed a strong emphasis on the mining sector assisting companies in logistics, property acquisitions and the export of mining and exploration equipment to the region.

 
Dr. Vicente Mendez
Position: Advisory Board

Dr. Mendez brings to Artha a distinguished 42 year career as an Economist and Geologist, primarily working in Argentina. Dr. Mendez is currently the counsellor/advisor for the Post-Graduate Mining career program at the University of Buenos Aires where he spent a good portion of his career as Professor of Mining Prospecting and Exploration.

Dr. Mendez's has received high acclaim for leading the exploration work that culminated with the discovery of the most important rare earth resources in carbonitites in Argentina and was also the leader of the exploration and negotiation that concluded with the exploitation of Lithium in the "Salar del Hombre Muerto" (Dead Man's Salt Flats) brines which are at this point in full production in the Province of Catamarca, Argentina.

Much of Dr. Mendez's career has been spent in Argentina with a hands-on approach in the field, focusing on economic evaluation of strategic minerals projects all over the country. Dr. Mendez has directed regional prospecting and exploration programs that include geological, mining and metallogenic charts covering 124, 000 sq km in the North-East region of Argentina plus 130, 000 sq km of the central Andean mountain regions.
